Wander: Our Visit to Los Poblanos
We had the chance to stay at the beautiful Los Poblanos Historic Inn and Organic Farm in New Mexico during our trip across the country last fall. Known for their line of apothecary products, this historic place boasts stunning architecture in a dreamy setting set in acres of lavender fields and lush trees. With the leaves changing and cool breezy days, this was the perfect place to visit in the fall for a much needed rest and relaxation.
Driving through the trees to the main building was magical as we entered a place of respite for the next couple of days. Accommodation options include the modern Farm guest room as well as the cozy Meem room in the historic hacienda designed by renowed architect John Gaw Meem. And it was a treat to use their apothecary products available in the rooms. The communal area is ideal for rest and exploring little corners and treasures of the space. The structure also houses the spot to eat one of the best breakfasts I've ever tasted, which is included in the stay. They serve meals using organic ingredients from the farm.
We loved wandering through the beautiful gardens and lavender fields on this organic farm nestled in the village of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque.
The stay was not complete without a stop at the Los Poblanos Farm Shop to discover more of their artisan lavender products, farm goods from their kitchen, as well as lovely home goods.
It was definitely a treat to explore and visit this inspiring place and hope to return soon. Simply "vuela" and wander!
